Grand Canyon moved from their classic rock roots to psychedelic rock on their newest EP ('Yesterday's News, out August 2), with the leading track being '21st Century American Man' (listen below). A nearly seven-minute-long epic about self-liberation that sheds societal expectations was actually 25 minutes long in original take, which the California band insisted on publishing. Their producer producer Jamie Candiloro had let them cool down for a few weeks, and then presented them with this shorter version, PopMatters reports.
