Paul McCartney becomes decades younger via deepfake technology in the music video for 'Find My Way', his collaborative song with Beck from the McCartney remix album 'McCartney III Imagined'. The video shows the de-aged McCartney emerging from a hotel room, dancing in the hallway, and being whisked away to different dream-like environments. The clip was directed by Andrew Donoho, choreographed by Phil Tayag, and co-produced by Hyperreal Digital, a company that “specializes in the creation of hyper-realistic digital avatars”.

Paul McCartney and Rick Rubin talk Beatles in new docu

The trailer for the six-part documentary series 'McCartney 3, 2, 1', featuring Paul McCartney and Rick Rubin has been released. It shows big-shot producer and big-shot bassist dissecting Beatles classics like 'Come Together', 'All My Loving', 'With a Little Help From My Friends', and 'In My Life'.

Mysie

Vijay Iyer Trio share some groovy piano virtuosity with 'UnEasy'; Paul McCartney seems much younger in a Beck remix of 'Find My Way' - the younger musician got the idea for the mix remembering seeing McCartney dance; supergroup Satanic Planet (featuring members of Slayer, Locust and Planet B) share their first song - a, obviously, satanic industrial electro 'Baphomet'; Mysie shares an R'n'B velvet 'Keep Up With Your Heart'; Luminous Kid shares an emotional same-sex song 'Mountain Crystals’ featuring spoken word by Phoebe Bridgers; U.N.K.L.E. just go dancing on 'If We Don't Make It'.

Paul McCartney and Rick Rubin are joining forces for a six-part documentary series that will take a look at the ex-Beatles' rich career, and the first official trailer is out now (watch it below). In the trailer, the duo talks about how the bass guitar can control a band, and McCartney explains how the Beatles wrote their tunes - “we realized we were writing songs that were memorable, not because we wanted them to be memorable, because we had to remember them”. According to Deadline, the untitled project is the first time that the original masters have ever left Abbey Road Studios.

"I like [going on buses]. I find it very grounding... I also like a nice car and I like driving too. But there’s something about that, being ordinary... I mean, I know I can’t be ordinary, at all – I’m way too famous to be ordinary – but, for me, that feeling inside, of feeling like myself still, is very important" - Paul McCartney says in a great interview for the GQ. He also talks about building and then breaking up the Beatles, suing the band for their own sake, being in lockdown, working with Rihanna and Kanye West... A great read.

Rihanna joins UK’s wealthiest with £468 million

Rihanna has made her debut appearance on The Sunday Times Rich List of UK's richest musicians, with an estimated fortune of £468 million. She claims the third place, just above Elton John and Mick Jagger, and below Andrew Lloyd Webber and Paul McCartney. Although she's successful musician, Rihanna's earnings are largely due to the Fenty Beauty cosmetics brand, where her reported 15% stake is worth £351m. Rihanna's appearance on the list is somewhat a surprise, because very few people knew she was living in London. The youngest on the list is Ed Sheeran with an estimated net worth of £200m.

Brian May / Paul MacCartney

Queen guitarist Brian May has suggested, in NME interview, the coronavirus pandemic could have been avoided if everyone ate a vegan diet - "That's a central issue here, this pandemic seemed to come from people eating animals and it's becoming more well known that eating animals is not the greatest thing for our health". Similarly, animal rights activist Paul McCartney has called for a ban on all Chinese wet markets while blaming the meat and produce trade posts for the spread of coronavirus, LA Times reports. Speaking with Howard Stern in a new interview, McCartney also called the practice of Asian live animal markets "medieval," comparing their activities to slavery.
