Angelo Badalamenti, the composer most famous for his “dark beauty” work with filmmaker David Lynch in the synth-heavy music for 'Blue Velvet', 'Twin Peaks' and 'Mulholland Drive' died at 85. His music taste includes This Mortal Coil, Portishead, Bob Dylan, The Beatles, Mazzy Star, Buddy Holly, his own music and more.
