Unusual French music - from palms to paper-eaters
Share
The Quietus picked up the best of the leftfield French music for the month of September. It's much easier listen them it would seem, but still unusual music, hard to put in any genre. Like a benign strange guy. Paper eaters in Papivores are really atmospheric, Palm Unit are on the jazzy side, and want to go to the movies, L'étrangleuse play some indie-rock African folk combo, Pion have collaborated with Charlotte Gainsbourg and Air, and you can hear it. Not all of it is great music, but most of it is interesting. Listen to the whole mix here.
