What is it like being disabled at a festival?

Guardian spoke to eight disabled festival-goers about the joys and challenges they encounter at music fests. One Lexi Porter had a troublesome experience - she uses a wheelchair full-time and in 2016, while she was watching Young Thug in a tent on a viewing platform a non-disabled festival-goers climbed on top to get a better view. The weight made the platform collapse under her. Sharon Brennan tells a different story to the London paper: “At a one-day Verve homecoming gig, the police sat in the front of their riot van so I could plug my neb into their car cigarette lighter”.
