Ultra Music Festival leaving Miami after 21 years

Florida’s Ultra Music Festival is leaving Miami after 21 years, in search of a new permanent home in South Florida. Ultra had been primarily held at Bayfront Park, but ih 2018 the city of Miami ousted the festival from its then-home citing noise complaints among the reasons. The event relocated to Miami’s Virginia Key island this year where festival-goers complained of a deficient shuttle system, and there was also an environmental impact on fish from the festival’s music, Miami Herald reports.
