NME: Beyonce's 'Lemonade' - clumsy, overwrought, sometimes quite embarrassing...

If an album isn't that good, there's no point in singling out text about it... unless the text itself is so good, and it makes a good point. That's the case with NME's review of Beyonce's live album 'Lemonade'. They think it isn't really much, but reading their review is a pleasure. Here's a snippet: "‘Lemonade’ actually represents a bold and ingenious marketing move. A means of quashing... rumours, and of staying married to Jay-Z while remaining – yassss, queen! – a totem of empowerment. Last year’s ‘On The Run II’ world tour could equally have been called ‘The Jay-Z Is Really, Really Sorry Tour’ as she dragged him, tail between his legs, around arena after arena. By the end of it he looked like Droopy the depressed dog".
