Lady Gaga and Kendrick Lamar nominated for Oscar

Lady Gaga is the second Oscar nominee, ever, to be nominated both for best song and in an acting category in the same year (Mary J. Blige was first). 'Shallow', her duet with Bradley Cooper is up for best song against 'All the Stars', Kendrick Lamar and SZA's contribution to the 'Black Panther' soundtrack, Diane Warren's 'I'll Fight' for RBG, 'The Place Where Lost Things Go' from 'Mary Poppins Returns', and David Rawlings and Gillian Welch's 'When A Cowboy Trades His Spurs For Wings' from 'The Ballad of Buster Scruggs'. In the Best original score category the nominees are 'BlacKkKlansman' by Terence Blanchard, 'Black Panther' by Ludwig Goransson, 'If Beale Street Could Talk' by 'Nicholas Britell', 'Isle of Dogs' by Alexandre Desplat, and 'Mary Poppins Returns' by Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman.
