Peruvian YouTuber and economist, Ioanis Patsias staged a big tribute show recreating Rosalía's performance from her latest Motomami tour. Patsias played the avant-garde pop queen himself, and he was helped on stage by eight dancers, picked out from 100 who auditioned for the part. They recreated the costume changes, the dance numbers, the lighting and stage design at an amphitheatre in Lima’s Parque de la Exposición, managing to sell-out the venue, with 3,500 fans attending the show. It took months of preparation and $100,000 of Patsias' money, who only managed to recoup only part of the money

"Before Kurt Cobain was getting Rolling Stone cover features, he was just one of many Seattle teenagers enthralled by Seattle band Bam Bam and its late frontwoman, Tina Bell" - the Seattle Times announces a tribute concert to the proto-grunge band. "On July 9, Seattle-area musicians pay tribute to Bell, whom they revere as one of the founders of grunge, by playing a show of her music at the Central Saloon. Matt Cameron, the former Bam Bam and Soundgarden drummer who now plays with Pearl Jam, will hold down the rhythm section. Kendall Jones of Fishbone and singer-songwriter Ayron Jones will play Bam Bam’s chords and leads. And Pearl Jam’s Stone Gossard will play a song as a special guest".

British Pearl Jam tribute act Pearl Jam has changed its name to Legal Jam, after receiving a cease and desist letter in September 2020 from the Seattle grunge icons, Metal Injection reports. Pearl Jamm indicate that the band with only one “m” requested they change their name and logo, claiming that it was too close to Pearl Jam’s actual name and logo. The original also requested Pearl Jamm to remove and destroy all the merchandise containing the name and the logo.
