A take on me

British grandpa becomes a YouTube sensation with covers of Radiohead, Bright Eyes, Slipknot...

A lovely story in the InsideHook about Frank Watkinson, a 68-year-old English grandfather whose YouTube channel has become an unexpected sensation during quarantine, thanks to his folk covers of songs by Bright Eyes, Neutral Milk Hotel, Death Cab For Cutie, Radiohead, as well as covers of A-ha and Slipknot, made in the same folk vein.

Two best new songs: BadBadNotGood and MF Doom collab, folk Slipknot cover

BadBadNotGood are back where they left with Ghostface Killah - 'The Chocolate Conquistadors' with MF Doom goes totally into the psychedelic jazz-hip-hop territory; an interesting cover - a senior man named Frank Watkinson made a lovely folk-rock remake of Slipknot's 'Snuff'.
