Billie Eilish sang a beautiful cover of 'Yesterday' at Oscars - watch

She was at the Oscars last night (didn't win any) to sing a cover of the Beatles’ 'Yesterday' during the In Memoriam segment (watch below). Billie Eilish sang the 1965 classic with her brother-collaborator Finneas on piano. The In Memoriam montage flashed across the screen behind them, showing people who died in the past year - actors Kirk Douglas, Doris Day, Peter Mayhew, filmmaker D.A. Pennebaker and basketball legend Kobe Bryant, among many others. Eminem got on stage for a surprise performance of his Oscar-awarded song 'Lose Yourself'. 10 singers from around the world who have voiced Elsa in the movie 'Frozen 2' in countries from Norway to Thailand, performed the hit 'Into the Unknown'. Janelle Monáe opened the show with a medley of tunes from movies released in 2019 and she took the opportunity to address the lack of diversity in the acting categories.
