Stereogum Album of the week: 'The Fallen Crimson' by Envy "soars and glides and crashes"

The focal point of the album is its frontman, Tetsuya Fukagawa who, singing in Japanese - "is capable of moving from melodic plaint to poetic spoken-word rumination to hellbeast growl with incredible grace... He’s the struggling figure at the center of the storm, but then sometimes he becomes the storm".
