Neil Young finally got the American citizenship

Neil Young appeared at the Convention Center in downtown L.A. on Wednesday to take his oath of citizenship. Following the ceremony, the 75-year-old was seen exiting the building accompanied by his wife Daryl Hannah — and waving a tiny star-spangled banner high and proud, TMZ reports. The legendary rocker previously encountered issues with his application due to his history of using cannabis. Young is Canadian but has been living in California since the 1960s.
