Best new songs - The Voidz, Grimes, Peter Bjorn and John...

Ruth Radelet of Chromatics

The Voidz have released a new "sweetly chill and rather charming pop" song 'Did My Best', with a funny video to go with it with band members hitting on to - sex dolls; Grimes is out with a drum-and-bass inspired '4ÆM'; Peter Bjorn and John are back with a "self-aggrandizing blues love song" 'Idionsynchracy'; Kings of Convenience's Erlend Øye gave his voice to Italian group La Comitiva for their "jazzy, acoustic" song 'For the Time Being'; Bohren & der Club of Gore have shared 'Tief gesunken', a "creepy and slow-burning" song; alt-rock supergroup Gone Is Gone - consisting of Mastodon bassist/vocalist Troy Sanders, Queens of the Stone Age guitarist Troy Van Leeuwen, At the Drive In drummer Tony Hajjar, and guitarist Mike Zarin - have shared 'No One Ever Walked On Water'; Chromatics have shared their new EP 'Sound of Silence' (Simon&Garfunkel cover, of course).
