Taylor Swift breaks Michael Jackson's record at American Music Awards

Taylor Swift won five competitive awards tonight at the American Music Awards, including the top prize of artist of the year, bringing her total tally of AMA wins over the course of her career to 28, breaking Michael Jackson's record of most AMA wins of all time (he won 24 AMAs). BTS and Khalid won three awards each, Billie Eilish won two, as well as Carrie Underwood and Dan + Shay. Taylor Swift was also honored as artist of the decade (Hollywood Reporter).
