Disney+ removed 'The Simpsons' episode with Michael Jackson
Disney+ has removed 'The Simpsons' episode 'Stark Raving Dad', which appeared in the show's third season. The now-notorious episode does not appear on the service as part of its removal, which also extends to Blu-ray DVD box sets and syndication. In the wake of pulling the episode, executive producer James L. Brooks told the Wall Street Journal, "It feels clearly the only choice to make," adding, "I'm against book burning of any kind. But this is our book and we're allowed to take out a chapter". Showrunner Al Jean, who co-wrote 'Stark Raving Dad', called the decision "something I agree with completely".
