An advice from Brit singer Eliza Shaddad: Get together a body of work that feels like you - like you and you alone

Last year British singer-songwriter Eliza Shaddad released her first album 'Future', which she toured this year that felt like an "achievement and joy" because she met people "who've traveled from far away to hear you sing, that's magic, and it feels especially personal because of being a solo artist". She released her new single 'Girls' last month, a song about "having the kind of deep friendship that means you can see through the deepest bullshit". PopMatters talked to her about her career thus far, including an advice she would give to someone who's just starting out - "get together a body of work that feels like you - like you and you alone, and then the rest of it follows that".
