Gang Starr announce first new album in 16 years, share a song

DJ Premier announced a new Gang Starr album, titled 'One of the Best Yet' and due November 1, Hot New Hip Hop reports. It's band's first in 16 years, nine years after band's MC Guru died, and DJ Premier said he was "just very happy to be making music with Guru again". The album features J Cole, Q-Tip, Royce Da 5’9″, M.O.P., Jeru the Damaja, Nitty Scott, Talib Kweli, Big Shug, Freddie Foxxx, and Ne-Yo. A new song from it, 'Bad Name', paying homage to Notorious B.I.G. and Tupac Shakur, is out now; watch it below.
