Poliça release a new song 'Driving' - "imagine wanting life and the want remains"

American indietronica band Poliça have a new song out, 'Driving' (watch below), and a new album, 'When We Stay Alive', coming out in January. The album was written, as Stereogum reports, when Poliça singer Channy Leaneagh fell off her roof in early 2018 and broke a vertebra - "Laying in bed, as I healed from a 10 foot fall of carelessness with my life, I would dream of running in green grass and tears would pour from my eyes. 'Running in the tall tear grass; imagine wanting life and the want remains'. That is a feeling to hold onto". A song to hold onto for quite a few listens, too...
