'Joker' faces controversy for using song by Gary Glitter

New Batman movie 'Joker' has come under fire for using a track by convicted pedophile Gary Glitter on its soundtrack. The movie uses Glitter's 1972 hit 'Rock and Roll Part 2' in a lengthy and pivotal scene, in which Joaquin Phoenix dances down a long flight of stairs and transforms into the iconic character. A number of upset fans have taken to social media expressing their anger and concern that Glitter would be receiving royalties for having his 1972 glam-rock instrumental featured in both the 'Joker' film and its respective soundtrack.
