'Joker' faces controversy for using song by Gary Glitter

New Batman movie 'Joker' has come under fire for using a track by convicted pedophile Gary Glitter on its soundtrack. The movie uses Glitter's 1972 hit 'Rock and Roll Part 2' in a lengthy and pivotal scene, in which Joaquin Phoenix dances down a long flight of stairs and transforms into the iconic character. A number of upset fans have taken to social media expressing their anger and concern that Glitter would be receiving royalties for having his 1972 glam-rock instrumental featured in both the 'Joker' film and its respective soundtrack. In 2015, Glitter, 75, was sentenced to 16 years in prison for sexually abusing three underage girls in the ’70s. CNN...
