Berghain is probably the most famous club in the world today. It all began in 1989 with gay sex club Snax - the same people went on to create Berghain. A new book No Photos on the Dance Floor! Berlin 1989 - Today and an exhibition of the same name capture the period from those early days till today; Guardian made a selection of photos from the book.
