Canadian festival Roxodus - a four-day event that was to be held at the Edenvale Airport in Clearview Township, ON, and feature the likes of Aerosmith, Kid Rock and Nickelback - was canceled due to weak ticket sales. Then the police came in - with organizers now warring over the loss of millions of dollars. Then the authorities launched an investigation against the organizers for allegedly destroying protected forests and wetlands. In order to host Roxodus organizers allegedly cleared 18 hectares of woodlands without proper permits or approval. If the organizer MF Live Inc. is found to have violated the rules, the company could be fined up to $100,000 - and that's for the loss of trees alone, Global News reports
