Producer Philippe Zdar dies in a fall from Paris building

French DJ and producer Philippe Zdar has died after accidentally falling from a building in Paris, CNN reports. Media put his age between 50 and 52. Zdar, born Philippe Cerboneschi, had produced tracks for the French rapper MC Solaar before founding the dance music duo Cassius in 1989. He also produced records for Cut Copy, Franz Ferdinand, as well as Hot Chip’s latest album, 'A Bath Full of Ecstasy', out Friday. Cassius’s latest album, 'Dreems', is also set for release this Friday.
