Miley Cyrus has a new EP out - clumsy or carefree?

Share
Last week country princess Miley Cyrus published 'She Is Coming', first out of three EPs - 'She Is Here' and 'She Is Everything' coming this year, that will make up her seventh studio album 'She Is Miley Cyrus'. Guardian writes quite fondly about it - "rather than seeking a new identity to disappear into, this Cyrus is playful, tongue-in-cheek, and, most importantly, making some of the best pop songs she has made in years". Vulture says her genre flip-floping is clumsy, although being "an encouraging step toward embracing everything Miley is — the hearty country singer, the restless sampler of sounds, the sort of overbearing pop star, and the outspoken queer advocate — all at once". Listen to it here.
