Katy Perry: There's less personalities today in music

The music industry now is a "totally different playing field" then 10 years ago, with less character, Katy Perry told The Sun, while releasing s new video 'Never Really Over'. So, this is how she sees music today: "I feel a little bit like 2008 was a time, and now 2019 is a totally different time, and all of the change that has happened in between that, it's a totally different playing field. I mean, you have to rewire and relearn. I would say that, as an observer, and a big fan of music, there are fewer characters. Lots of songs come out, but fewer characters and personalities". She also said she's giving up music for now, in order to make music. She has a new video out, a summer love song 'Never Really Over'; it's India, hippies, bonfires, clothes with heart-shaped holes in it... and you won't be able to miss it this summer.
