Guardian talked to Burt Bacharach about his career, and about how he still has the urge to write songs. Why? “This is my form of resistance. I can’t stand what’s happening in this country – my country”. There's this one person who he really dislikes - "We must pick somebody who’s capable of getting rid of this guy. I’m not sure he’ll leave even if he loses. They’ll have to drag him out – unless he starts a civil war. He’s very dangerous".
