Japanese company sues Kanye West - allegedly owes them $624,000 for materials for sneakers

Japanese fashion company Toki Sen-I Co. has accused Kanye West, claiming his Yeezy brand owed them $624,000 for materials and work done on his exclusive sneaker line. They claim West “used his reputation and celebrity status” as a tool to deceive them into producing the fabric, which he then didn’t pay for. The firm also claimed Kanye’s company, Yeezy Apparel, is a “shell” and a “sham” without capital assets or member interest. West alleged the firm never delivered the materials and has asked for the case to be dismissed, All Hip Hop reports.
