Rain Phoenix's first solo single, Michael Stipe helps out

American actress, musician, and singer Rain Phoenix shared her first single as a solo artist. 'Time Is The Killer' features Michael Stipe, it appears on a new release 'Time Gone', out today, and in arrives with a new video directed by Bobby Bukowski and Bradley Gregg

A lot of connections among them - both Bukowski and Gregg worked with Rain’s late brother River Phoenix (Bukowski was the cinematographer on 1991’s movie 'Dogfight', and Gregg played River’s brother in an another movie - 'Stand by Me'), and 'Time Gone' features previously unreleased tracks by River Phoenix’s band Aleka’s Attic.
