California wildfires: Neil Young criticises Donald Trump after losing his home, Kanye West hires private fire crew
Neil Young has criticised Donald Trump for his reluctance to act on climate change after California wildfires destroyed the songwriter’s home. In a post on his website, Young said: “California is vulnerable – not because of poor forest management as DT (our so-called president) would have us think. We are vulnerable because of climate change; the extreme weather events and our extended drought is part of it.” Music News reports that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West reportedly hired a fire crew to ensure the wildfires sweeping southern California did not destroy their property in Los Angeles' Hidden Hills. Their neighbours gushed that they were grateful to Kanye, 41, and Kim, 38, for bringing in their own team to fight the blaze as it also saved their homes - which would have likely perished too if Kim and Kanye's house had gone up in flames.
